The star player, who suffered an injury to his left ankle, could not continue the match.

This injury has caused concern ahead of Galatasaray's critical match against Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday, September 18.

A statement regarding the injury came from Okan Buruk. Speaking on the NOW Spor YouTube broadcast, Buruk said, "We reached him (Osimhen). The information we received is that there is pain in his foot. We cannot say 'there is nothing wrong.' We want to bring him to Istanbul as soon as possible and have his check-ups done."

Osimhen's condition will become clear after detailed examinations are conducted.
