Ömer Faruk Beyaz's Fenerbahçe confession

Ömer Faruk Beyaz, who grew up in the Fenerbahçe youth academy before making a sudden decision to leave the team and transfer to Germany, and who is currently playing for Hatayspor, made important statements to Bein Sports.

Stating that his decision to transfer abroad was risky but that he wanted to try it, Ömer Faruk Beyaz said, "The decision to go abroad was risky. If I had stayed here, how it would have turned out would be a hypothetical. I made this decision to represent my country and Fenerbahçe. Things don't always go the way you want. I think I took advantage of the opportunities when they came, but I don't think those opportunities continued. I have never regretted it, and I never thought I made the wrong decision. It gave me a lot of experience. The fact that the environment I worked in was different and the tempo was different helped me develop a lot," and continued with the following sentences:

"I knew it wasn't easy to go to another country at 17, but I also thought I could succeed. I don't think I'm a failure right now, but I haven't reached the level I expected. The club I will return to at the end of the year is still there... We will see what happens."

There were talks in the old management that I would be in the A-Team, but the incoming sporting director did not want this. We went to a meeting with him. However, I was constantly treated as a player coming from the youth academy. I could only enter as a substitute for 5 or 10 minutes in friendly matches. This was a process that could have been managed. I was living in fear of being taken out of the game in the 45th minute in cup matches. My hopes were starting to run out. I thought I had to leave. I wanted to experience a new experience, a new life. I was very suffocated there. No one had come out before me. There was no example like Arda Güler. This affected me badly. This process tired me out a lot, and I decided to leave. President Ali Koç always treated me very well. He helped me with everything. However, when the things that happened piled up, it affected me.
