When I left my hometown of Ravensburg at the age of 15 to go to the Freiburg Football School, my dream was to make a place for myself in professional football. In fact, I managed to realize this dream:

I was promoted to the Bundesliga with my team Freiburg, which will always have a special place in my heart. They supported me unconditionally during my difficult times after the accident. I also had to experience a shameful relegation with Werder Bremen. Fortunately, this chapter was followed by another promotion where I was able to lead the glorious SV Werder onto the pitch as captain. I made my debut in the Champions League with Bayer Leverkusen, who trusted me a lot after the accident I had and allowed me to take the field as captain.

Borussia Dortmund, the Yellow Wall, I got goosebumps in the warmest stadium of the Bundesliga, perhaps even the world. Antalyaspor, the club that gave me the opportunity to play in my own country.
