Bad news has come from Paul Onuachu for Trabzonspor, which advanced to the semi-finals of the Turkish Cup by defeating Başakşehir 1-0. It was stated that a fracture was detected in the left arm of Onuachu, who was injured during an aerial duel in the 67th minute of the match.

The statement made by the burgundy-blue club included the following:

"Following the examination of our player Paul Onuachu, who left the game due to injury during our Football A Team's match against RAMS Başakşehir, a muscle injury (adductor muscle group) in the left groin area and a non-displaced bone (ulna) fracture in the left forearm due to impact were detected. Our medical team has begun the treatment of our player."

Additionally, Trabzonspor shared a video on its social media account reacting to the fact that the position was not considered a penalty, and added the X-ray image of Onuachu's arm to the video.
