In the 11th week of the Trendyol Super League, Eyüpspor was defeated 1-0 at home by Antalyaspor. Following the match, Eyüpspor Manager Orhan Ak made statements at a press conference.

Stating that they lost a match they absolutely should have won, Ak said, "We are very sad. Unfortunately, we are leaving here unhappy after a match where we would have been disappointed even with a draw.

We dominated the match from start to finish. We had very clear chances. We completely pinned the opponent in their own half. But unfortunately, we could not make the final touches. We played one of our best games in recent times. Therefore, I congratulate my players for their effort and struggle. We will continue to fight. In the upcoming matches, we will get the reward for the game we played and bring our team to the place we want," he assessed.

"OUR GAME FORMATS ARE CLEAR"

Regarding the statement made by Antalyaspor Manager Erol Bulut about information being leaked to opposing teams within the club, Orhan Ak said, "No, no such information has reached us. We were already guessing more or less. Regardless of how they play, our game formats are clear. We don't change much based on the opponent. We are a team that tries to play our own game more than the opponent," he stated.

"WE WILL SURELY GET THE REWARD"

Pointing out that they could not find the score despite entering many goal-scoring positions in the first half of the match, Ak said, "It is unfortunately also related to the situation you are in. As you fail to score, you experience a loss of self-confidence, and the resistance of the opponents increases. We need to be mentally stronger. The important thing is to get into positions. We already talked about that at halftime. You enter in the first half and can't score, you enter in the second half and you score. If we continue to play the game we want, there will be a reward for this," he said.
