Galatasaray striker Osimhen has responded to speculation regarding his future amid recent rumors of a departure. Answering questions from viewers on Romeo WJ's Twitch channel, the Nigerian star made significant remarks about both his future and his personal life.
Osimhen expressed his satisfaction with the environment at Galatasaray, stating: "I am happy at Galatasaray. This place feels like heaven to me. There is mutual respect between the club and the fans. This respect is shown not only to me but to everyone who is with me. When I wake up in the morning, I have a huge smile on my face. Every time I wear the jersey, I play with my heart for Galatasaray."
Speaking about certain habits that have remained unchanged in his life following a serious injury, Osimhen noted, "Even if I reach 35 and retire, I will never change my hairstyle. My mask has also become a part of me now. I had an injury in 2021, and I cannot chew with one side of my jaw," he said, highlighting the challenges he has faced.
Osimhen also shared the most meaningful gift he has ever received. "It was an away game we were playing; a woman and her son seemed to be struggling, being pulled as they tried to get past security. Then they held up a portrait of my mother. When I saw my mother's face, I just told security to stop. I told them to let them through, to let them come. That gift—even if you look at my house in Istanbul, I have many of them. But that specific one really caught my attention, so it was truly beautiful," he said.
