Facing China's Yuan Chang in the match at Roland-Garros, Akbaş lost the first round 4-1, the second round 5-0, and the third round 5-0, resulting in a 5-0 defeat overall.
Hatice became the athlete to win Turkey's second silver medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
In her first match at the Games, Hatice Akbaş defeated Great Britain's Charley Davison 3-2, and in the round of 16, she beat Australian Tiana Echegaray 5-0.
The national athlete, who guaranteed a medal by defeating Mongolia's Enkhjargal Munguntsetseg 5-0 in the quarterfinals, had advanced to the final by winning 3-2 against South Korean Aeji Im in the semifinals.
