Our U19 National Team starts with a victory

The U19 National Football Team defeated Lithuania 3-1 in their first match of the UEFA European Championship Qualifying Round Group 8.

In the match played at the Arslan Zeki Demirci Sports Complex in the Manavgat district of Antalya, the crescent-stars finished the game with a 3-1 lead thanks to goals from Engin Yıldırım in the 10th minute and Efe Sarıkaya in the 31st and 80th minutes.

Lithuania's only goal was scored by Lukas Michelbrink in the 62nd minute.

In the other match of the group, Belarus defeated Greece 1-0.

The Turkey U19 National Football Team will play their second match in the group against Belarus on November 18, and their final match against Greece on November 21.
