Panathinaikos announces Fatih Terim!

Panathinaikos has announced that Fatih Terim has been appointed as head coach! The legendary figure of Turkish football, Fatih Terim, has reached an agreement with the Greek giant Panathinaikos.

In the statement made by the club, the phrase "Welcome Emperor Fatih Terim" was used.

Fatih Terim will travel to Athens on Wednesday to sign a 1.5-year official contract that will make him the manager of Panathinaikos.

Panathinaikos, which has not won the league title in Greece since 2010, is currently in second place, 1 point behind the leader PAOK, with 15 weeks of the Greek League completed.

Speaking to journalist Ertuğrul Özkök, Fatih Terim said, "Yes, it is true. They came yesterday and we agreed. I am going to Athens tomorrow morning. I will be on the training pitch in the afternoon." The experienced coach will travel to Athens on Wednesday at 11:00 AM.

Terim's staff will include Necati Ateş, Şükrü Hanedar, Mert Çetin, Eray Öztürk, and an assistant coach.
