In the first match of the new year in the Süper Lig, Gaziantep FK and Pendikspor faced off in the 19th week. The match at Gaziantep Kalyon Stadium ended in a 2-2 draw.
Gaziantep FK took a 2-0 lead with goals from Denis Dragus in the 12th minute and Ogün Özçiçek in the 49th minute.
Pendikspor found the equalizer within 3 minutes. For the Istanbul side, Erdem Özgenç converted a penalty in the 77th minute to make it 2-1, and Erencan Yardımcı brought the score to 2-2 in the 80th minute.
