Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, whose team is set to host Burnley in the English Premier League, spoke about Xavi, who will part ways with Barcelona at the end of the season.
"THE PRESSURE IS GREATER IN SPAIN"
Stating that there is more pressure in Spain compared to England, Pep Guardiola said, "In my experience, the pressure we face in England cannot be compared to the pressure in Spain. There is a thousand times more pressure there. Six press conferences a week, many matches," and concluded his remarks with the following words:
"The pressure you experience at Barcelona is unlike anything else. There is so much pressure there."
Xavi, who will leave Barcelona at the end of the season, also used the following words:
"Being the manager at Barcelona is cruel. That is how I feel. I am trying to explain what I feel. They constantly tell you that you are not the right person to be the coach of Barça. I didn't understand it when Guardiola, Valverde, and Luis Enrique were explaining it. Now I understand. Being the Barcelona manager is not a pleasant job. I feel like my life is in danger at every moment."
