PFDK announces penalties! 2-match ban for that Galatasaray player

The Turkish Football Federation Professional Football Discipline Committee has announced the decisions taken at its meeting on 29.03.2024.

2-MATCH BAN FOR GÜNAY

The penalties announced in the statement from the PFDK are as follows:

"It has been decided that GALATASARAY A.Ş. shall be fined 380,000 TL due to the ugly and improper chants caused by its fans during the KASIMPAŞA A.Ş.-GALATASARAY A.Ş. Trendyol Super League match played on 17.03.2024, and because this action was committed for the 7th time in a match where it was the guest club within the same season; in accordance with Article 53/3 of the FDT (Football Disciplinary Instructions), the electronic tickets of the spectators located in the G block of the GUEST STAND BEHIND THE GOAL who engaged in the ugly and improper chanting shall be blocked, preventing their entry to the next match in which the club is the guest,

In the same match, GALATASARAY A.Ş. official AYHAN AKMAN shall be punished with a 15-DAY BAN FROM SPORTS-RELATED ACTIVITIES due to his unsportsmanlike conduct toward members of the opposing team,

In the same match, GALATASARAY A.Ş. athlete GÜNAY GÜVENÇ shall be punished with a 2-OFFICIAL MATCH BAN and a 26,000 TL FINE due to his insult toward the match official, in accordance with Articles 41/1-a and 35/4 of the FDT and by applying Article 13 of the FDT."

It has been decided that KASIMPAŞA A.Ş. shall be fined 200,000 TL due to the ugly and improper chants caused by its fans during the KASIMPAŞA A.Ş.-GALATASARAY A.Ş. Trendyol Super League match played on 17.03.2024, and because this action was committed for the 2nd time in a match where it was the host club within the same season; in accordance with Article 53/3 of the FDT, the electronic tickets of the spectators located in the C and D blocks of the COVERED STAND who engaged in the ugly and improper chanting shall be blocked, preventing their entry to the next match in which the club is the host,

In the same match, KASIMPAŞA A.Ş. official SERKAN REÇBER shall be punished with a 13,000 TL FINE due to his unsportsmanlike conduct toward a member of the opposing team, in accordance with Articles 36/2 and 35/4 of the FDT and by applying Article 12 of the FDT,

VAVACARS FATİH KARAGÜMRÜK Club shall be punished with a 112,000 TL FINE due to non-compliance with instructions, as a member who was not on the list of participants for the grass field maintenance training attended the match organization security and coordination meeting and stadium inspection during the VAVACARS FATİH KARAGÜMRÜK-TÜMOSAN KONYASPOR Trendyol Super League match played on 15.03.2024,

YUKATEL ADANA DEMİRSPOR A.Ş. Club President METİN KORKMAZ shall be punished with a 78,000 TL FINE due to non-compliance with instructions for being in non-accredited areas during the YUKATEL ADANA DEMİRSPOR A.Ş.-EMS YAPI SİVASSPOR Trendyol Super League match played on 27.03.2024."
