PFDK decisions announced: Penalty for the attack on Atilla Karaoğlan determined

The Professional Football Disciplinary Board announced its penalties following its meeting today.

Antalyaspor President Sinan Boztepe, who went to the locker room during the halftime of the Hatayspor match and attacked referee Atilla Karaoğlan, was fined 504 thousand liras for "being in an area where he was not accredited," received a 125-day ban from sporting activities and a 350 thousand lira fine for "physical intervention and threats against the referee," and a 4-month ban from sporting activities and a 600 thousand lira fine for insults.

His bodyguard, Abdulkadir Aydın, who attacked the referee along with Sinan Boztepe, was punished with a 45-day ban from sporting activities for being in an area where he was not accredited, and a 270-day ban from sporting activities for his attack on the referee.

Hatayspor was fined 54 thousand liras for "unsportsmanlike conduct as a team."

Hatayspor assistant coach Erman Kılıç was given a 1-match ban and a 58 thousand 500 lira fine for "unsportsmanlike conduct towards the referee."

The statement from the PFDK included the following:

"1- Göztepe, due to ugly and bad chants caused by its fans in the Corendon Alanyaspor-Göztepe Trendyol Super League match played on 23.08.2024, is prohibited from entering the next match where it is the guest club by blocking the electronic tickets of the spectators in the guest tribune A block who engaged in ugly and bad chants, in accordance with Article 53/3 of the FDT,

2- Bodrum FK official Ufuk Oğuz is punished with a warning for non-compliance with instructions due to being in an area where he was not accredited after the match in the Bodrum FK-Konyaspor Trendyol Super League match played on 24.08.2024,

3- Kasımpaşa, due to ugly and bad chants caused by its fans in the Kasımpaşa-Adana Demirspor Trendyol Super League match played on 25.08.2024, is prohibited from entering the next match where it is the host club by blocking the electronic tickets of the spectators in the open marathon tribune open marathon C block who engaged in ugly and bad chants, in accordance with Article 53/3 of the FDT,

4- Antalyaspor President Sinan Boztepe is punished with a 504,000 TL fine for non-compliance with instructions due to being in an area where he was not accredited during the match and at halftime in the Antalyaspor-Hatayspor Trendyol Super League match played on 25.08.2024,

In the same match, Antalyaspor President Sinan Boztepe is punished with a 125-day ban from sporting activities and a 350,000 TL fine for his unsportsmanlike conduct involving physical intervention and threats against the match referee,

In the same match, Antalyaspor President Sinan Boztepe is punished with a 4-month ban from sporting activities and a 600,000 TL fine for his insults towards the match referee in the referee locker room corridors,

In the same match, Antalyaspor official Abdulkadir Aydın is punished with a 45-day ban from sporting activities for non-compliance with instructions due to being in an area where he was not accredited during the match and at halftime,

In the same match, Antalyaspor official Abdulkadir Aydın is punished with a 270-day ban from sporting activities for his attack and unsportsmanlike conduct towards the match referee,

5- Hatayspor Club is punished with a 54,000 TL fine for unsportsmanlike conduct as a team in the Antalyaspor-Hatayspor Trendyol Super League match played on 25.08.2024,

In the same match, Hatayspor Club coach Erman Kılıç is punished with a ban from entering the locker room and the substitute bench for 1 official match and a 58,500 TL fine for his unsportsmanlike conduct towards the match referee,

6- Çaykur Rizespor, due to ugly and bad chants caused by its fans in the Çaykur Rizespor-Fenerbahçe Trendyol Super League match played on 25.08.2024, is prohibited from entering the next match where it is the host club by blocking the electronic tickets of the spectators in the covered sea tribune covered sea A block who engaged in ugly and bad chants, in accordance with Article 53/3 of the FDT,

7- Fenerbahçe is punished with a 168,000 TL fine due to field incidents caused by its fans in the Çaykur Rizespor-Fenerbahçe Trendyol Super League match played on 25.08.2024,

In the same match, Fenerbahçe is punished with a 120,000 TL fine due to ugly and bad chants caused by its fans, and because this action was carried out for the 2nd time in the same season in a match where it was the guest club, it is prohibited from entering the next match where it is the guest club by blocking the electronic tickets of the spectators in the guest tribune guest block who engaged in ugly and bad chants, in accordance with Article 53/3 of the FDT."
