PFDK imposes fines on Galatasaray, Trabzonspor, and Adana Demirspor

The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Professional Football Discipline Committee (PFDK) has imposed fines on Galatasaray, Trabzonspor, and Adana Demirspor.

According to the statement on the TFF website, Galatasaray was fined 157 thousand 500 Turkish Lira for failing to keep stairwells clear during their away match against Adana Demirspor, marking the second such occurrence within the same season.

Trabzonspor, who were guests of İkas Eyüpspor, was fined 120 thousand Turkish Lira because their fans engaged in ugly and improper chanting for the second time this season during an away match.

The PFDK fined Adana Demirspor, who hosted Galatasaray, a total of 258 thousand Turkish Lira, consisting of 168 thousand Turkish Lira for field incidents caused by their fans and 90 thousand Turkish Lira for failing to keep stairwells clear. In the same match, Adana Demirspor player Tolga Kalender was suspended for 2 official matches due to a "serious foul" against an opposing player.

Net Global Sivasspor manager Bülent Uygun was also fined 300 thousand Turkish Lira for his "unsportsmanlike statements" made during the press conference held after their home match against İkas Eyüpspor.
