PFDK rains down penalties on clubs

Six clubs, including Trabzonspor, Beşiktaş, and Fenerbahçe, have been penalized. Additionally, players and executives have received match bans and suspensions from rights.

The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK) has issued fines to 6 clubs from the Süper Lig.

According to the statement on the TFF website, the board ruled for fines of 2 million lira for Trabzonspor, 930 thousand for Beşiktaş, 168 thousand for Fenerbahçe, 525 thousand for Kasımpaşa, 300 thousand for Bellona Kayserispor, and 120 thousand for Net Global Sivasspor for various reasons.

The disciplinary board handed a 1-match ban to Beşiktaş player Tayyip Talha Sanuç for a serious foul, while Bellona Kayserispor players Gökhan Sazdağı received a 1-match ban, and Onurcan Piri received a 1-match ban along with a 29 thousand 250 lira fine.

The PFDK also sentenced Trabzonspor executive Taner Fikret Saral to a 45-day suspension from rights as well as a 1 million 500 thousand lira fine due to his statements aimed at damaging the reputation of football.
