Poland eliminated, Czech Republic secures EURO 2024 ticket

In the European Championship Qualifiers Group E match, Poland and the Czech Republic drew 1-1. With this result, Poland, having completed its group matches, no longer has a chance to qualify for EURO 2024.

Poland and the Czech Republic faced off in the European Championship Qualifiers Group E match. The game, played at the Narodowy Stadium, ended in a 1-1 draw. With this result, the Czech Republic became the second team in the group, after Albania, to qualify for EURO 2024. 

Poland took the lead in the 38th minute with a goal by Jakub Piotrowski but could not hold the score. Tomas Soucek stepped up at the beginning of the second half to equalize in the 49th minute. Although Poland increased the pressure for the remainder of the match, the game ended in a 1-1 draw. 

In the match, Fenerbahçe player Sebastian Szymanski entered the game for Poland in the 86th minute, while Antalyaspor player Adam Buksa came on in the 46th minute.

With this result, Poland, having completed its group matches, brought its point total to 11. The Czech Republic rose to 12 points, placing them above Poland and guaranteeing their spot in EURO 2024. 

Poland will host Moldova at home next week.
