Posted 'Long live Sharia': Referred to disciplinary board!

Trabzonspor Board of Trustees Chairman Ali Sürmen, from the Süper Lig clubs, announced that they have referred fan group leader Mehmet Fındıkçı to the disciplinary board for posting "Long live Sharia."

THIS IS NOT A POLITICAL PLACE

Speaking at Trabzonspor's 55th Ordinary General Assembly for the Board of Trustees, Sürmen said, "There can be different political views. Trabzonspor is a place where people with different political views should be. This is not a political place, but we see that some of our members are exaggerating this."

MEHMET FINDIKÇI POSTED ABOUT SHARIA

Trabzonspor Board of Trustees Chairman Ali Sürmen stated, "We previously watched our brother Mehmet Fındıkçı, whom we believe has contributed greatly to our club as a fan group leader (Trabzonlu Gençler), listening to the National Anthem with his hands in his pockets, and we wondered if it was a misunderstanding. However, on February 19, he made a post on his social media account saying 'Long live Sharia'."
