The Beşiktaş football team has begun its preparations for the new season with medical check-ups. The players of the black-and-white team underwent a detailed health screening at Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital.
According to the statement made by the club, players including Arda Berk Özüarap, Can Keleş, Emir Yaşar, Emirhan Topçu, Emre Bilgin, Emrecan Uzunhan, Ersin Destanoğlu, Fahri Kerem Ay, Göktuğ Baytekin, Kartal Kayra Yılmaz, Alexander Chamberlain, Ernest Muçi, Felix Uduokhai, Gabriel Paulista, Adnan Karahisar, Poyraz Gelen, and Amir Hadziahmetovic participated in the medical examinations.
In addition to blood tests, the footballers were examined in various departments such as orthopedics, internal medicine, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, general surgery, and cardiology. Furthermore, the medical check-ups were completed with lung function and stress tests.
Following the medical check-ups, the Beşiktaş players also underwent performance tests at the BJK Nevzat Demir Facilities before starting field training.
