The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) announced new project implementations at a meeting held in Riva, to which members of the press were invited.
Hürriyet columnist and former referee Fırat Aydınus claimed that the TFF is preparing to make significant decisions, including the disclosure of VAR recordings.
VAR RECORDINGS TO BE RELEASED ON THE EVENING OF THE MATCH
Sharing details regarding the critical meeting, Aydınus wrote that the TFF is carrying out work on the disclosure of VAR recordings. Aydınus emphasized that the goal is to publish the audio from the matches played that day in the evening, similar to the system implemented in Spain.
REFEREES ARE ALSO OPEN TO THE IDEA
Fırat Aydınus stated that referees are also open to the disclosure of VAR recordings in order to prevent controversies.
SÜPER LİG A.Ş. PROJECT
It has been learned that one of the topics the TFF is focusing on is the Süper Lig A.Ş. project. Aydınus reported that the federation has held 6 meetings with Bundesliga representatives and will present the relevant report to the Union of Clubs following further discussions.
NEW RESTRUCTURING IN THE CENTRAL REFEREE BOARD
Another plan of the TFF concerns the new structure of the Central Referee Board (MHK). The planned new MHK structure includes forming a new 5-person team that will also include 2 members from the clubs.
The new 5-person Central Referee Board will make decisions on issues such as the management, appointment, grading, and classification of refereeing. However, the 2 members who will serve on behalf of the Union of Clubs must not be employed by any club.
