Presidential race at Beşiktaş concludes: Serdal Adalı re-elected president

The outcome of the Beşiktaş Club's ordinary elective general assembly was determined before the ballot counting was completed. Serdal Adalı received over 3,000 votes, defeating his rival Gürkan Aksoy by a wide margin to be re-elected as president.

The president was determined at the Beşiktaş ordinary elective general assembly before the counting was finished. Serdal Adalı and Gürkan Aksoy were competing for the presidency of the black-and-white club. Serdal Adalı surpassed his rival Gürkan Aksoy and was re-elected as president.

The Beşiktaş Club's ordinary elective general assembly was held today at the Turkish Athletics Federation Ataköy Athletics Hall. Uğur Poyraz was elected as the chairman of the congress council at the general assembly held at the Turkish Athletics Federation Ataköy Athletics Hall.

Following this, a moment of silence was observed and the National Anthem was sung at the meeting. At the congress, incumbent president Serdal Adalı and presidential candidate Gürkan Aksoy competed to become the president of the black-and-white club. A total of 27 thousand 588 members who had paid their dues were eligible to vote in the congress. In the election, candidate Serdal Adalı competed with a white ballot, while Gürkan Aksoy used an orange one.
