According to a report on TalkSport, QPR star player Ilias Chair has been sentenced to a total of 2 years in prison, with 12 months to be served and 12 months suspended.

Details of the report state that in the summer of 2020, while Ilias Chair was out with friends, he broke a truck driver's head with a stone following an argument. The case has now concluded, and the 26-year-old Moroccan player has received a total of 2 years in prison and a 15 thousand euro fine.

QPR released the following statement on their official account:

"The club is in regular contact with Ilias Chair's legal team regarding the assault charge brought against him and remains in contact. The legal process has not yet reached a conclusion. Therefore, the club will not be making any further comment at this stage."
