In the trial where Fenerbahçe Board Member Selahattin Baki is being tried on allegations of insulting Galatasaray Sports Club Board Member Eray Yazgan, a prison sentence of up to 2 years and 4 months has been requested.

The hearing at the Istanbul 3rd Criminal Court of First Instance was attended by the lawyer for the complainant, Eray Yazgan.

Presenting the prosecutor's opinion on the merits during the hearing, the prosecutor noted that the defendant, Selahattin Baki, used insulting language toward the complainant, Yazgan, in a manner that could be heard by everyone.

In the opinion, it was requested that the defendant, Baki, be sentenced to imprisonment ranging from 3 months and 15 days to 2 years and 4 months for the crime of "public insult."

Announcing its interim decision, the court granted the complainant's lawyer time to prepare their defense and adjourned the hearing.
