It has been reported that a new era has begun at Fenerbahçe following the meetings held between manager İsmail Kartal and Marco Asensio during the international break.

According to a report in Sporx, Kartal has been taking a close interest in the Spanish footballer during training sessions, and the problems between them have been resolved through one-on-one meetings held at Samandıra.

It was noted that during the private meeting with Asensio, the experienced manager said, "You are one of the leaders of this team and you are very valuable to us."

It was also reported that Asensio responded positively to this approach and expressed that he is happy at Fenerbahçe. The Spanish player reportedly said, "I am extremely happy at Fenerbahçe. I really want to experience winning the championship. I will do everything in my power to contribute to this goal."
