Continuing its transfer efforts for the new season, Fenerbahçe has parted ways with another player to free up a foreign player quota spot. Krunic, who transferred to Fenerbahçe from Milan with a purchase option during the mid-season break last year, has reached an agreement with Red Star Belgrade.

The 30-year-old footballer appeared in 4 matches this season, 3 of which were in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers and 1 in the Süper Lig.

Krunic wore the yellow-navy jersey in 18 matches last season.

The Bosnian midfielder played a total of 22 matches for Fenerbahçe and provided 1 assist.

In a post on its social media account regarding the transfer, the yellow-navy club stated, "An agreement has been reached with the Serbian club Red Star Belgrade for the permanent transfer of our professional football A-team player Rade Krunic. We wish the player success in his future career."
