Reaction from Emre Belözoğlu to Fenerbahçe fans!

Ankaragücü Manager Emre Belözoğlu evaluated the 3-0 victory against Fenerbahçe in the Ziraat Turkish Cup quarter-finals.

Stating that they needed such a victory, Belözoğlu said, "We suffered a defeat in our last league match that we did not deserve. There was a bad scenario for us. We needed a win like this. All my players did their best. I thought the single-match format could be an advantage. The biggest credit goes to my players. We have lost matches we didn't deserve to lose. Today we got the reward. I congratulate all my teammates, health to their efforts."

Touching upon his relationship with the fans, Belözoğlu said, "Since the day we arrived, we have captured this energy by integrating with the community. Our fans supported me. Evaluating the abusive chants directed at him by Fenerbahçe fans in the final moments of the match, Belözoğlu stated, "I have nothing to say. I chose Fenerbahçe. I have not regretted it. I am Emre of Fenerbahçe. People made me feel this too. I didn't think I would experience this. There is nothing to say."
