Reaction to refereeing from Serdar Topraktepe!

Beşiktaş Technical Manager Serdar Topraktepe made statements following the 2-1 derby loss to Fenerbahçe.

DISCRETIONARY CALLS FAVORED FENERBAHÇE 

Criticizing the refereeing, Topraktepe said, "Despite being down to 10 men, all my players chased the game until the last minute, fought tooth and nail, and showed character. I thank them all. We knew Fenerbahçe would apply pressure for the first 15-20 minutes, and we talked about this. We were planning to defend first and then play transition games. We received a red card in the 23rd minute, which disrupted our plans. After going down to 10 men, we played 4-4-1 but couldn't settle into the game. We played well and fought hard. Fenerbahçe might have been ahead, but the game swung back and forth. We had chances even after being down to 10 men. The referee used his discretionary calls in favor of Fenerbahçe, even though we were down to 10 men. We wanted to fight more, but our tempo dropped once we were down to 10 players."
