Real Madrid player Kylian Mbappe hospitalized

Kylian Mbappé did not have a very good start to the Club World Cup. The player, who missed Real Madrid's opening match, is seeing his condition worsen. The club announced in a statement that the French footballer has been hospitalized.

The statement noted that the reason for the hospitalization is that the French player is suffering from acute gastroenteritis and, as he has been unable to recover, he has been admitted to the hospital for various tests and appropriate treatment.

For this reason, it is almost impossible for the Frenchman to play in the match against Pachuca next Sunday. If he does not recover in the coming days, he may have to bid farewell to the FIFA Club World Cup.

Meanwhile, Xabi Alonso will give a chance to Gonzalo García, who started in the first 11 last Wednesday in Mbappe's absence and is expected to continue playing in the next match.
