Real Madrid wins in match where Arda Güler provided an assist

Spanish football powerhouse Real Madrid faced off against German side Schalke 04 in their final friendly test before the 2026-2027 season. The Madrid team displayed an effective performance against their opponent, leaving the pitch with a clear 3-0 victory.

Real Madrid started the match quickly, with Kylian Mbappe finding the back of the net in just the 6th minute to put his team ahead. Finding their rhythm with this goal, the Spanish side doubled the lead in the 20th minute. This time, it was Dean Huijsen who took the stage, with national star Arda Güler providing the assist for the goal.

Arda Güler, who drew attention with his performance after starting in the first 11, maintained his high tempo on the pitch until the very beginning of the second half, after which he was replaced by Eduardo Camavinga.

Real Madrid brought the score to 3-0 with a goal from Carlos Espi in the 57th minute. No further goals were scored in the remaining minutes, and the match ended with Real Madrid's victory.

In Schalke 04, the goal was guarded by Loris Karius, who previously played for Beşiktaş. Additionally, former Fenerbahçe striker Edin Dzeko entered the game in the 80th minute. Mertcan Ayhan, who played in the second half for the German team, stood out as the brother of Kaan Ayhan, who plays for Galatasaray.

Having completed their preparation process, Real Madrid will face Espanyol on August 22 in the first official match of the new season.
