Kosovo reached the final by defeating Slovakia 4-3 in the play-off semi-final, and all eyes are now on the historic match where they will host our national team.
Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti addressed the players in a statement before the match, making a move to boost their motivation. Having previously promised a 500 thousand euro bonus for the victory in the Slovakia match, Kurti announced that he would double this amount for the Turkey match, stating that a total of 1 million euros in bonuses would be given to the players if they win. This bonus reaches a magnitude never before seen in Kosovo football, setting a record.
