Fatih Karagümrük manager Tolunay Kafkas expressed his sadness over their relegation after his team lost 3-1 away to Gaziantep FK in the 37th week of the Süper Lig.

Speaking at the post-match press conference, Kafkas stated that they played effectively in the first half and had gained control of the game.

Stating that they were saddened by the relegation, Kafkas noted the following:

"When the second half started, unfortunately, we conceded a goal from a half-chance. After the red card, the balance of the game changed completely. I congratulate Gaziantep FK. Of course, what really needs to be said is that Fatih Karagümrük Sports Club was subjected to serious refereeing errors from the beginning of the league to the end. You know, as we reached the final weeks, VAR referees started to arrive, and so on and so forth. To be honest, this last two or three weeks does not cover the whole season, unfortunately. The people in charge are interesting people, that is. Well, best of luck. There is a lot to be said, but let everyone be happy for now."
