Beşiktaş Club has announced that the Chairman of the Selection and Registry Board, Şahabettin Önkol, and the board members have resigned.
The statement from Beşiktaş is as follows:
"Şahabettin Önkol, who was elected as the Chairman of the Selection and Registry Board at our club's Ordinary Elective General Assembly Meeting held on May 29, 2022, along with the board members, have submitted their resignations to our Board of Directors as of today (May 20, 2024).
The resignations of Şahabettin Önkol and the board members have been accepted by our Board of Directors.
Detailed information regarding the election for the Selection and Registry Board chairmanship will be provided later through our club's communication channels."
