Results from the first day of the Ziraat Turkish Cup
Four matches were played in 2 groups today during the first week of the Ziraat Turkish Cup group stage.

The Ziraat Turkish Cup group stage began today with the first week of matches. In the daytime session, MKE Ankaragücü drew with 2nd League side İskenderunspor, while Fatih Karagümrük defeated Trendyol Süper Lig side Çaykur Rizespor. The defending cup champions, Beşiktaş, started the group stage with 3 points after a 1-0 win in Sivas. Antalyaspor, meanwhile, beat Kocaelispor with 3 goals.
The excitement of the cup group matches will continue with games to be played tomorrow and on Thursday, January 9.
