Rıdvan Dilmen's take on the title race: 'In this scenario, the league is 95% over'

Fenerbahçe hosted Beşiktaş on home soil in the 34th week of the Süper Lig.

The Yellow-Navy Blues defeated their arch-rivals 2-1 with goals from Michy Batshuayi and İrfan Can Kahveci. While Cenk Tosun scored the only goal for Beşiktaş, the Black-Whites' Al-Musrati was sent off after receiving a straight red card in the 25th minute.

Commentator Rıdvan Dilmen evaluated the derby on the %100 Futbol program on TV8.5.

Dilmen discussed both Fenerbahçe's performance against Beşiktaş and the title race.

"GALATASARAY AND FENERBAHÇE HAVE ONE COMMON FEATURE"

Mentioning a common feature of Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray, Dilmen stated, "The Fenerbahçe team took the field with its classic lineup. They played very pressingly for the first 30 minutes, playing like a 4-3-3 with the addition of Fred. We always need to keep this in mind. Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe have one common feature. They win when they are good while the opponent has the ball. What matters is not when I have the ball. They already have talented names."

Rıdvan Dilmen continued his words as follows:

"Yesterday we said, 'Fenerbahçe cannot respond with two very important strikers to Galatasaray being the leader with a single striker.' We asked, 'Would it be a surprise if you played with Batshuayi?' and he is playing today. This is Fenerbahçe's ideal squad excluding Batshuayi, but Fenerbahçe experienced the disadvantage of being able to reach these days with this squad by being eliminated from Olympiakos in Europe."

Evaluating the title race between Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe, Rıdvan Dilmen commented, "To be realistic, even if Fenerbahçe beats Konyaspor and Kayserispor, in a scenario where Galatasaray wins its matches against Sivasspor and Karagümrük, the league is 95% over. That is why I see that they evaluate the Sivasspor and Karagümrük matches as the matches of the season for Galatasaray. Therefore, I think there are 2 weeks left until the end of the league. Okan Hoca has this in his mind: 'If I go two for two, if I win, I will go to our stadium 4 points ahead,' he says."

A SPECIAL MENTION FOR BATSHUAYI AND İRFAN CAN

Speaking with praise for Michy Batshuayi and İrfan Can Kahveci, who scored the Yellow-Navy Blues' 2 goals against Beşiktaş, Dilmen said, "If Fenerbahçe is in the title race today, it is thanks to 2 players: one is indisputably İrfan Can, and the second is Batshuayi.
