Sadettin Saran has made his decision! Will he step down as president?

Following his detention as part of an investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and his subsequent release under judicial control, the question of whether Fenerbahçe President Sadettin Saran will step down from his post has become one of the most discussed topics in the corridors of the club.

Journalist Barış Terkoğlu shared information he obtained from his conversations with circles close to Saran during a program he attended on Sözcü TV.

Emphasizing that he spoke directly with individuals close to Sadettin Saran, Terkoğlu stated the following:

"I spoke personally with people close to Sadettin Saran to get the answer to the question; those individuals told me that Sadettin Saran is absolutely not considering resignation and that he will fight until the end.

Because; it was expected that Sadettin Saran would be arrested there that day. Perhaps 90 percent of the public thought there was such a possibility. Being taken from the club building by the gendarmerie and being held at the gendarmerie station overnight left a distinct mark in people's memories.

The fact that the courthouse was surrounded by iron fences also felt to people like a preparation for an arrest. When he was not arrested, people wondered, 'Was there a deal made inside, or will a process begin that leads to his resignation without him being arrested?'

But I asked this question very clearly today, and the answer I received from the Fenerbahçe management and Sadettin Saran's team was this: Nothing of the sort is being considered."
