Beşiktaş Football Team General Coordinator Samet Aybaba made important statements at a press conference regarding the team's current situation and future plans.

Aybaba stated that no meetings have been held with Sergen Yalçın, noting that Yalçın is currently coaching another team and that it would therefore be unethical. He also expressed that he congratulated the players on the coaching changes and stated that there is no situation involving players being excluded from the squad.

Aybaba's statements are as follows:

"There has been no meeting with Sergen Yalçın for now. Sergen is currently coaching a team. This situation would not be ethically correct.

I congratulated the players yesterday. I said, 'You have changed coaches for the sixth time. Well done.'

Responding to the question, ''You mentioned a wide transfer list; is this wide list weighted towards young players due to restructuring, or will we see familiar faces as well?'' Aybaba said, ''There are young players, experienced players, and players closer to maturity in age. Our job is very difficult; we have a bad, rotten team on our hands. You see the squads of Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray; closing the gap is not easy at all. This is not something that will happen in 3-5 days. We are doing our best, and our list is taking shape accordingly."

Football Branch Manager Feyyaz Uçar, on the other hand, announced that meetings were held with some coaches in the middle of the season, but there were those who did not want to come after seeing the squad.
