Saudi Arabia has announced its intention to host the 2035 FIFA Women's World Cup.

Monika Staab, the sporting director of the Saudi Arabia women's national football team, stated at the "Leaders Week" conference in London, England, that the federation intends to host the 2035 FIFA Women's World Cup, adding, "I think it would be a great development for the future for women to play in Saudi Arabia."

The Turkish Football Federation announced last week that it supports Saudi Arabia, which has also submitted an official bid to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup.

Saudi Arabia, which has made a name for itself in recent years with its investments in football and by attracting well-known international stars to its league, had also applied to host the 2026 AFC Women's Asian Cup. Saudi Arabia is competing with Australia in the bidding process for that tournament.
