Selçuk İnan: "Losing like this does not suit us"

Gaziantep FK manager Selçuk İnan, whose team was defeated 4-2 away by Trabzonspor in the 34th week of the Süper Lig, stated that losing in this manner at such a time does not suit them.

In his statement at the press conference held after the match, İnan noted that he was not in a position to say much, adding, "I feel a bit bad. Losing a match like this at such a time does not suit us."

Expressing that he takes responsibility and is saddened, İnan stated the following:

"At the same time, we spoke with my players inside, and they also take responsibility. Conceding 3 goals in 3 minutes does not suit us. At such a moment, while we are struggling down there, conceding such simple goals does not suit us. That is why I do not want to talk much about the game. We prepared well and started well. We found 2 goals, and we could have found the 3rd and 4th goals as well. It was difficult for me; I am sad. To be honest, in the meeting I held with the team yesterday, I said that we would win the match; we believed in it. As someone who knows Trabzonspor best, in this atmosphere, with no spectators present and having played a match 3 days ago, beating them here was a possible outcome, but it did not happen."
