Speaking at the press conference after the match and emphasizing the series of draws, Şenol Güneş said, "There is no need to evaluate the match. We are saying the same things. We are saying the same things over and over again. Because in our period, we had started well with 10 men in the first Beşiktaş match in 3 matches. Our tempo was also good. When we were left with 10 men, we tried to fight physically.

We can say some positive things about some of our values there in terms of game principles, physically and defensively, but when we look at today and the last match, these are not there. We are a team that has trouble in using the ball, playing fast with physical tempo, that is, in the parameters of football. The strange part and especially the important part is this. We share these with the players. The players say the same thing. We made passing errors while coming out slowly. There is no problem in identifying these types of deficiencies right now. Speaking about the Gaziantep FK match, Güneş said, "In the first 45 minutes on the pitch, there was no good game for either team. It was being played, but it was not a lively, active game for the spectators. In the second half, we added a bit more excitement to the game, tried to add speed, tried to use the ball, and found positions in sections. Our biggest problem is that we have ball losses in a very simple way that should never happen.

I understand if you can't run, but for example, we are going to attack, there is space in the back, the opponent has a running player, we pass badly while trying to pass. We press in the back, we are about to come out, we lose it in a way that shouldn't happen while coming out, the opponent is already doing that. Every opponent knows this, it is the same against every team, against big teams. When we lost it, we should have turned the ball over quickly by pressing, but we couldn't do these. This did not fully reveal our game fluidity and superiority.

Because when we lost the ball on the way out, we made runs backward. Even though the positions we found in the second half and the game were somewhat positive, it is not enough for us. That's why I'm saying the same thing again. We don't find it right to say this doesn't suit us, we played badly, because these are certain now. If we look for an excuse, we can find it, of course, but I wonder if it is because a team or players are not at the desired level physically. Because we played a match in a week.

Our tempo in the first match was perhaps because it was a big match. It wasn't there in this match. There were players who played in that match but whose tempo in this match, and who I didn't see any physical strength in the game in a match in between. This is bad for us. There were those who played consecutive matches. I understand those, but this physical decline in players who never played also caused us trouble. Because the expectation is high.
