Serdal Adalı announces: Beşiktaş's Batumi plan for Hapoel Beer-Sheva match awaits UEFA approval

Beşiktaş President Serdal Adalı made statements regarding the venue for the match the black-and-whites will play against Hapoel Beer-Sheva. Adalı noted that the Batumi option has come to the forefront for the match, but UEFA has not yet given official approval.

Speaking to A Spor, Adalı said, "We will most likely play the Hapoel match in Batumi. UEFA has not approved it yet. We have had discussions with the Georgian Football Federation."

Stating that the match is planned to be played with spectators, Adalı said the stadium where the match is intended to be held has a capacity of approximately 20 thousand. The Beşiktaş President said, "It will be played with spectators. It is a 20 thousand-seat stadium. Our fans can go easily because there is no visa requirement."

Adalı also mentioned the Cyprus connection regarding the opponent, stating, "I am of Cypriot descent on my father's side. We will play against a South Cyprus team."

Providing information about the team's away game logistics, Adalı stated that different options are being evaluated for transportation planning. Adalı said, "We would like to take the team from our side, but there is a crossing gate in Nicosia, there is no customs mechanism. If that doesn't work, we will go via Athens or Rhodes."
