HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE STATEMENTS MADE BY Serdar Adalı TO TRT SPOR:

"We are trying to keep the scales balanced without expressing certain things openly. When we took office, there wasn't a single unit in the club's internal operations where we could say, 'This place is in good shape.'

The club's operational mechanism was what exhausted us the most. There was a picture where it wasn't clear who was doing what job.

We are still dealing with these issues. For example, we asked, 'Who is the authorized person for the application?' It turned out the authorized person was from the Kartal Yuvası (Eagle's Nest store). The internal management and system of a massive club like Beşiktaş should not have been in this state.

When we went to Ümraniye, we saw the sense of demoralization and distrust among the people was 2-3 times worse. There is no way for me to describe this to you. We found an environment in Ümraniye where there were conversations among them about whether the club would shut down. There is a 10-fold difference between the Ümraniye of today and that day. We certainly did not take over an easy Beşiktaş."

"I CANNOT EVEN DESCRIBE HOW SADDENED I AM BY WHAT HAPPENED AT THE DIVAN BOARD MEETING"

"I cannot even describe how saddened I am by what happened at the Divan Board meeting. I wish Hasan Arat had given notice beforehand, saying, 'I will attend the Divan meeting tomorrow.' We found out there. There is no need for demagoguery like 'They put us in 17th place.' If you had called in advance, you would certainly have been placed in the first spot.

That is the Divan Board; I have no business intervening. Despite this, at the previous meeting, he had warned Ahmet Nur Çebi, saying, 'Let's not get into these topics.' He said, 'No, I will get into them.' There was a very pleasant atmosphere at the Divan Board meeting. Approval had come from the Capital Markets Board (SPK) two days prior; we are going to get rid of the interest. A clean slate will open before us. I don't think what happened was very coincidental.

First of all, Hasan Arat should have given notice in advance. I love and respect Tevfik President very much, but let it not be thought that I support him. There is the part of the business visible on camera, and there is the part not visible on camera. They said, 'They are pushing and shoving.' These are 70-year-old people. Mr. Tevfik extends his hand to say 'welcome,' and Mr. Hasan hits his hand.

Mr. Hasan came very prepared. Hasan Arat is going to speak at the Divan meeting after 5 months; doesn't Hasan Arat know that the Divan meeting won't go normally? He started speaking first. Mr. Hasan also knows these things, that tension would arise, that they would be asked about these matters. He spoke for 17 minutes. I listened again. Within those 17 minutes, what was there that we had in mind to ask? For example, he said, 'Come with documents.' Did you leave a single document at the club? You deleted all the documents and left."

"THE INCIDENT AT THE DIVAN BOARD MEETING HAS BEEN FULLY REFERRED TO THE DISCIPLINARY BOARD"

"The incident that took place at the Divan Board meeting has been fully referred to the Disciplinary Board. We held a meeting in the morning and asked how they would manage the process. I also took their opinions to determine the election date. Let those who will be candidates come forward; Beşiktaş's troubles are clear and obvious. If there is someone who can resolve the problems in a short time, let them be a candidate. This is not a challenge; I don't like such things either. I will be by their side too. Let them not wait in the corner and lie in wait, saying 'Come save us' when the team is doing poorly. We have set the election date as May 14."

"WE WILL EXIT THE BANKS ASSOCIATION BY MAY 11!"

We will exit the Banks Association by May 11. From now on, there will be many who are eager for the presidency!"
