Serdar Ali Çelikler: If the law changes, Fenerbahçe will become part of Koç Holding

While the Samsunspor-Fenerbahçe match played in the 9th week of the Süper Lig ended in a 2-2 draw, President Ali Koç became the focus of criticism following Fenerbahçe's loss of points. A striking assessment on the subject came from sports commentator Serdar Ali Çelikler.

Speaking on the "Son Round" program broadcast on the Vole YouTube channel, Çelikler stated that Fenerbahçe has entered a process of becoming a subsidiary of Koç Holding.

Çelikler expressed his prediction regarding the future of Fenerbahçe with the following words: "Fenerbahçe will not go bankrupt; if you are truly a Fenerbahçe fan, you do what is necessary, but I think there are no real Fenerbahçe fans left anymore. I think the next Fenerbahçe President will be Mr. Ali's son, Kerim Rahmi Bey. Let him buy it anyway, if there is such an opportunity. Let them give it to Mr. Ali, let it be a subsidiary of Koç Holding, so we don't have to say 'let the president step down,' let us just know."

IF THE LAW CHANGES, FENERBAHÇE WILL BECOME A PART OF KOÇ HOLDING

Stating that he foresees Fenerbahçe could be incorporated into Koç Holding following changes to be made in the ownership law, Çelikler spoke as follows: "I am not taking sides, but if that is how it will be, if the law is going to change, let him buy it. I already think that Mr. Ali will not step down, will not resign, and that at most he would call for an extraordinary general assembly to renew his mandate. Even if he takes this decision, I see that he will be re-elected, that people will find a new way to defend him, and that Fenerbahçe is on the path to becoming a subsidiary of Koç Holding.

As long as Mr. Ali does not step down himself, this is the situation. Therefore, if one day the law changes and ownership becomes possible, let Ali Koç take Fenerbahçe as a subsidiary of Koç Holding, and we will know."
