Serdar Topraktepe's assessment of the derby victory

In the 15th week of the Süper Lig, Beşiktaş defeated Fenerbahçe 1-0 at home in the derby match with a goal from Chamberlain in the 73rd minute.

Beşiktaş Technical Manager Serdar Topraktepe made statements following the derby victory against Fenerbahçe.

"I PLAYED RAFA ON THE WING"

Topraktepe began his remarks as follows:

We haven't been able to make our fans happy for a long time. The Fenerbahçe match was a great opportunity in this regard. We wanted to make them a little happy by beating Fenerbahçe. As for the game, both teams played very aggressively. We both found chances in transitions. We were the ones who found more chances. We were going to make moves in the second half. When I spoke with my players, Tayyip had just returned from injury, and I had told Alex before the match that I would play him; I wanted him to get into the team. He went in and did good things. First, I played Rafa on the wing. I knew Fenerbahçe would come from the flanks, so I concentrated the midfield. I didn't hesitate at all.
