Sergen Yalçın: 'A bit of luck, a bit of skill!'

Antalyaspor Manager Sergen Yalçın made statements following the defeat against Fenerbahçe.

Sergen Yalçın said, "First of all, it is sad to lose. We wanted to win in front of such a large crowd, or at least take a point. It was a very balanced game, but a goal scored by Cengiz with individual skill, and as a result, we had chances in the first half. We pushed quite hard. After the 70th-75th minute, we took risks and found chances, but it didn't happen. It was a satisfying performance for us. We are sad because the score was not what we wanted. They are a very strong team. It is not easy to play these matches. I also congratulate Fenerbahçe."

When asked why they could not convert the chances they created, Yalçın said, "Missing those chances is about a bit of luck and a bit of the players' skill. We don't have much squad depth. We have 2 wingers. We don't have many chances to make moves there. We switched to two strikers. As a team, I am satisfied with the players' performance. I hope we continue our path in line with Antalyaspor's own goals."
