In the 28th week of the Süper Lig, Antalyaspor defeated Gaziantep FK 1-0 at home.

Speaking at the post-match press conference, Antalyaspor manager Sergen Yalçın noted that while the game itself was not difficult, they had been unable to win matches in recent weeks. Expressing that the match was therefore high-stress, Yalçın said, "That was the difficult part. Actually, when we look at the game, we missed perhaps five or six very clear opportunities. We had goal-scoring chances. If we had scored the second, it could have been easier. But in these types of matches, when you cannot find the second goal, the game naturally becomes difficult. When the opponent takes risks, applies pressure, and comes at you, the instinct to protect the lead naturally makes the game harder. We are going through a very tough period and playing very difficult matches. We have two away games in Istanbul. We have now secured our position in the standings with 38 points. This is an advantage for us, with a 10-match period remaining. The last 8 matches are entirely against our own rivals. This victory gave us a breather and relieved my players. I hope that from here on, things will be much better for Antalyaspor."
