Sergio Oliveira undergoes surgery in his home country

Galatasaray's Portuguese footballer Sergio Oliveira has undergone surgery in his home country.

In a post shared on his social media account following the surgery, Oliveira stated, "Surgery complete. I would like to thank Galatasaray and Yener İnce for being open-minded and trusting my decision to recover in Portugal."

Galatasaray Club announced in an official statement on December 15 that Sergio Oliveira had suffered a pectoral muscle tear during an individual strength training session at the Florya Metin Oktay Facilities fitness center.
