Serkan Afacan has become the new head coach of Altay, a team in the Trendyol 1st League.

In a statement released by the Altay Club, it was noted: "As a result of the decision taken by our board of directors, Serkan Afacan has been appointed as the head coach of our professional football team. We wish our head coach Serkan Afacan and his staff success in their new role."

Serkan Afacan most recently served at Menemen FK, a team in the TFF 2nd League, last season.
