Fenerbahçe has announced that UEFA has initiated disciplinary proceedings against its players Matéo Guendouzi and Mason Greenwood, as well as the club itself, following the UEFA Champions League Play-Off round second leg match against French side Lyon.
In a statement from the yellow-navy club, it was stated that the necessary defense will be prepared to protect the rights and interests of both the players and Fenerbahçe during the process initiated by UEFA.
The statement noted that information and documents regarding the process will be submitted to UEFA and that the club is closely monitoring developments.

"Following the UEFA Champions League Play-Off round second leg match, disciplinary proceedings have been initiated by UEFA against our players Matéo Guendouzi and Mason Greenwood, as well as our Club.
