Sinner's victory carries Djokovic to the ATP Finals semifinals
Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic have advanced to the semifinals of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Finals.

Two matches were played in the Singles Green Group at the ATP Finals, one of the most important tournaments of the season, hosted by the Pala Alpitour in Turin, Italy.
In the first match, world number one Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic defeated Polish player Hubert Hurkacz 2-1 with sets of 7-6, 4-6, and 6-1, securing his second victory in his third group match.
The number 4 seed, Italian Jannik Sinner, defeated Danish player Holger Rune 2-1 with sets of 6-2, 5-7, and 6-4. Had Rune won this match, Djokovic would have been eliminated from the tournament.
Sinner, who finished his group with 3 wins out of 3, advanced to the semifinals as the leader, while Djokovic, who had already guaranteed finishing the 2023 season at the top of the world rankings, advanced as the runner-up.
The tournament will continue in the Red Group with the Carlos Alcaraz vs. Daniil Medvedev and Andrey Rublev vs. Alexander Zverev matches.
