Fenerbahçe Beko has announced the signing of American basketball player Skylar Mays.

In a statement released by the yellow-navy club, it was stated that an agreement has been reached with the 27-year-old player until the end of the 2024-2025 season.
Throughout his NBA career, Skylar Mays has played for the Atlanta Hawks, Portland Trail Blazers, and Los Angeles Lakers.
The American player was on the roster of the NBA team Minnesota Timberwolves at the beginning of the 2024-25 season.
WHO IS SKYLAR MAYS?
Born on September 5, 1997, in Louisiana, Skylar Mays played for Louisiana State University during his college career. Having performed successfully for the LSU Tigers organization between 2016 and 2020, Mays drew attention particularly in his senior 2019-2020 season with averages of 16.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.2 assists.
Drafted 50th overall in the second round by the Atlanta Hawks in the summer of 2020, Mays gained NBA experience with the Atlanta Hawks between 2020-22, while also competing in the G-League with the College Park Skyhawks.
During the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons, Skylar Mays played in the NBA for the Portland Trail Blazers and Los Angeles Lakers, while competing in the G-League for the Delaware Blue Coats, Mexico City Capitanes, and South Bay Lakers.
