Spain becomes Euro 2024 champion

Spain, which defeated England 2-1 in the 2024 European Championship final, declared its championship in the final match, having arrived there without losing a single game.

Only one shot on target was recorded in the first half of the Spain-England final.

In the move where Phil Foden met the ball from a free kick taken by Declan Rice from the right wing into the penalty area, Unai Simon managed to control the ball.

The second half began with a goal for Spain. In the 47th minute, Spain took the lead in the match with a goal by Nico Williams. Meeting the ball in the penalty area with a pass from Lamine Yamal during a fast-developing attack, Nico Williams managed to send the ball into the far corner of the net past Jordan Pickford with a precise shot from the left diagonal.

In the 73rd minute, England equalized the match with a goal by Cole Palmer. Cole Palmer, who met the ball as a result of a three-way passing sequence between Bukayo Saka, Jude Bellingham, and Cole Palmer, managed to send the ball into the corner of the net to the right of Unai Simon with a hard and precise shot from outside the penalty area.

England, which brought balance to the match, found morale with this goal, but Spain did not give up.

In the 86th minute, the Spaniards took the lead again in the match with a goal by Mikel Oyarzabal. Moving onto a low cross sent into the penalty area from the left wing by Marc Cucurella, Mikel Oyarzabal sent the ball into the net at the corner to the right of Jordan Pickford with a precise first-time shot from the near post.
